Two recruits from Marine Le Pen during the 2019 Europeans will create the Localist Party, to develop themes on ecology, identity, or territories, in "complement" to the National Gathering, traditionally more centralizing.

The MEP elected with the support of RN Hervé Juvin, inspirer of the party on civilizational ecology, and his parliamentary assistant, former LFI regional advisor, Andrea Kotarac, will launch this movement in January, AFP learned from the two officials , confirming information published Tuesday by Le Parisien and Le Figaro.

MM.

Juvin and Kotarac also publish a manifesto called "Chez nous!", Close to the identity slogan sometimes heard in the meetings of the RN "We are at home!".

Believing that the "French no longer have a say" in the face of a "Parisian technocracy above ground" and have a "feeling of dispossession and anger", the two officials want to promote "a decision as close as possible to the territories, the 'authentic ecology or short circuits'.

They ensure that "the renewal of localism and identities is a factor of integration".

"+ Chez nous! + It's the opposite of living alone with your screen, it's together at the local café, at the end of school or at the football match", argues Mr. Juvin, questioned by AFP.

Their initiative is not directed against "against the RN but alongside, in addition" to the party, which Marine Le Pen, candidate for the Elysee Palace, is herself considering leaving for the presidential campaign.

The RN, which is culturally "very demanding on sovereign functions, on centralization and verticality, needs to transform its vision of power by integrating this need for horizontality and local differentiation", supports the MEP, who does not does not have his card at the RN.

"It is because we are proud of the small homeland", that is to say the village or the region, "that we can defend the great homeland", adds Mr. Kotarac, who defends a "strengthening ideas, credibility "on artificial intelligence, subsidiarity, Europe or even social justice" that the RN or other parties do not carry enough ".

They informed Marine Le Pen of their initiative which, when questioned, welcomes "a partner approach which gives the essential concept of localism a welcome autonomy and visibility".

As for the role of this structure for the presidential election, it is Marine Le Pen "who will decide", according to Mr. Kotarac.
