The Vaccine and Biological Drug Advisory Committee, an advisory body of the US Food and Drug Administration and the FDA, recommended Pfizer Pharmaceutical's emergency approval of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Advisory Committee deliberated on the agenda for urgent use of the Corona 19 vaccine applied by Pfizer and recommended urgent use approval with 17 in favor, 4 dissent, and 1 abstention through a vote.

CNN broadcast reported that the FDA is likely to approve emergency use today (11th) or tomorrow based on recommendations from the advisory committee.

Although the FDA may allow the distribution of the vaccine, actual vaccination requires an additional decision of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Advisory Committee recommendation.

CNN predicted that a vote for a recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will take place on the afternoon of the 13th.

On the 17th of the US time, an advisory committee meeting is scheduled to review the agenda for urgent use of a vaccine applied by the pharmaceutical company Modena.
