Scenes of chaos Thursday evening in the center of Tirana.
The tension had not subsided two days after the death of a 25-year-old young man killed by a police officer.
Hundreds of young people demanded justice in a very tense atmosphere.

Quickly, small groups disperse in the center of Tirana.
Garbage cans are set on fire and shop windows are smashed.
Scenes of chaos, not seen for years in Albania.
Student, Frankli accuses the current leaders: “
The young people have turned against the police.
But not because of the police, but because of the policies that are decided by the director of police, the minister and the prime minister.
They are the ones who push certain individuals to act against citizens!

Following these protests, the Prime Minister visited the family of the victim.
The policeman responsible for the fatal shooting was suspended, and the Minister of the Interior tendered his resignation.
