China News Service, November 24. According to Korean media reports, the South Korean fire department said that on the 24th local time, a fire broke out in an apartment building in the southeastern city of Busan in South Korea, killing at least one person and injuring 12 others.

  According to reports, the fire broke out at about 6:50 am local time on the 24th, on the 12th floor of an apartment building in the northern part of Jinjing District, Busan.

  Fire officials said that a deceased in his 50s was found on the 12th floor. Another 12 people have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, including the deceased’s son because of inhalation of heavy smoke.

  Fire officials said that the fire did not spread to other rooms in the apartment building and the fire was completely extinguished within about 40 minutes.

  Currently, South Korean police and fire departments are investigating the cause of the fire.
