On the occasion of the return of the All Saints holidays on Monday, a tribute was paid to Samuel Paty, this teacher assassinated because he had shown caricatures of the prophet to his students during a course on freedom of expression, in all establishments in France.

In the college of Bois-d'Aulne in Conflans-Saint-Honorine where the tragedy occurred, the resumption of classes had been postponed to this Tuesday morning.

Monday was devoted to the return of the bereaved teachers and accompanied by "

five listeners

" and two work psychologists according to the rectorate of the Academy of Versailles, to prepare the "

 educational content

" to present to 750 students the next day.

It is in a way a pre-re-entry for the students of this college of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine who will not have lessons this Tuesday.

Instead this morning, they are taken care of by school psychologists in each class to try to externalize what they are feeling and put their trauma into words.

And there will also be

a minute of silence

in tribute to Samuel Paty.

He's a teacher who always had a laugh,

" one of his third grade students told me.

Obviously still in shock, she confided that she wanted to move on as quickly as possible and forget that Black Friday of two weeks ago.

Important police system

Other students indicate that they expect a lot from these exchanges with these psychologists and especially from seeing their classmates again to talk to each other about what happened.

In any case, this re-entry is very special here for the colleague from Bois-d'Aulne.

Many journalists made the trip and a very important police device with dozens of CRS was set up near the college.

It is also very important to see today that the school has regained its rights.

Because the freedom of expression has been attacked but also the freedom to teach, the freedom to learn.

The school of the Republic is still standing, and that is fundamental.
