“In total, more than 100 thousand studies of washes from environmental objects have been carried out for the presence of a new coronavirus infection in them.
Of these, 134 positive studies of samples of washes from the surfaces of environmental objects were revealed in medical organizations, at trade and transport facilities, ”TASS reports.
Samples of swabs with traces of coronavirus make up 0.13% of the total number of samples examined.
Earlier, Alexander Butenko, head of the department of the Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, told the Moscow 24 website how to protect yourself from COVID-19 on various surfaces.
