With 171 new admissions in the past 24 hours, it is now exactly 1,539 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalized in intensive care, a level not reached since last May.
But if we are still far from the peak of April where they were then more than 7,000, the situation is deteriorating rapidly and the pace is accelerating.
It only took seven days for the number of patients in intensive care to multiply by 2.5, almost 1,000 more in a week.
