The fact that the government may introduce exceptions to the 50-person rule at major events means that both Kalmar FF and IK Oskarshamn are now planning to open up to a larger audience at the autumn matches.

- Spontaneously, I think it is a positive message. We have already come a long way in planning to offer a safe event and this message means that we at least open to more audiences than 50 people, says Johan Franzén, Chairman of the Board of IK Oskarshamn.

Requires planning

But a lot of planning will be required, not least from the smaller clubs in the SHL, says Johan Franzén.

- BeGe hockey center in Oskarshamn differs from Scandinavium. The seated audience is not the biggest risk factor, but the logistics inside the arena, when going in and out. Therefore, the plans need to be adapted locally.

Difficult in smaller rooms

Erik Börén at Börén Nöje arranges stand up at Palladium in Växjö. However, he is doubtful whether the relief makes any difference to the stand-up when the event is held in an already small venue. According to the government's proposal, there must be at least two meters between each person in the audience for larger events to be allowed.

- I wonder how this two-meter rule should work? Does it have to be two meters apart only sideways or in all directions? In that case, we still get so many in with us, he says.
