Just before 7 pm, the police were alerted about people who are said to have jumped from the railway bridge into the river in Alster. However, it later emerged that there was uncertainty about where exactly the young people had jumped.
- It has probably not been someone who jumped from the railway bridge but rather from the footbridge, which crosses Gubbholmen, says Stefan Wickberg, spokesman for the police Bergslagen.
The police patrol that searched the area must not have found any people.
