According to Kovalkova's Facebook post, the list was compiled in such a way “to represent the Belarusian people in the best possible way”.

The composition, in particular, included the Nobel Prize laureate in literature Svetlana Aleksievich, the chairman of the Association "Innovative Instrument Making" Lyudmila Antonovskaya, children's resuscitation doctor, candidate of medical sciences Andrey Vitushko and others.

The list consists of 35 names, however, as Kovalkova said, “the process of forming the main composition of the Coordination Council is still underway”.

"And platforms will be created for the work of an expanded staff, working and expert groups," she said.

Earlier, the candidate for the presidency of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovskaya announced the formation of the "Coordination Council to ensure the transfer of power."

She instructed her confidant Olga Kovalkova and lawyer Maxim Znak to accept applications for the nomination of council members from organizations and associations of citizens.

Tikhanovskaya's headquarters did not recognize the results of the elections announced by the CEC of Belarus. According to the CEC, the current head of state won over 80% of the vote.
