"As a result of preventive measures to prevent the further spread of a natural fire ... in the Burzyansky district on the territory of the Bashkir State Nature Reserve, the fire is localized, there is no further spread," the statement said.
It is specified that the area of active combustion at the moment is 0.51 ha.
“There are enough forces and means to eliminate burning,” the department added.
Earlier it was reported that in Bashkiria there was a large natural fire in the Burzyansky district, the fire partially covered the protected reserve. Later it became known about the increase in the area of the fire.
