The Barcelona Court has refused to apply the Supreme Court's criteria in the La Manada case to a group violation, something that would have meant considerably increasing the sentences. The Hearing on Monday imposed heavy penalties on two defendants, but it has departed from the most recent jurisprudence of the High Court and has estimated that it was a continuing crime of sexual assault, and not several crimes.
