This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

“After two weeks from the moment of vaccination, the health status of the participants in the trials of the coronavirus vaccine ... is consistently good, there are no complications or adverse reactions,” the statement said.

All volunteers are under the constant dynamic supervision of medical specialists - they are regularly monitored for blood pressure, pulse, temperature, performed auscultation and laboratory tests "to study the intensity of the humoral immune response", and also examine the injection site.

Next week, 21 days after the first vaccination, volunteers of the second group will be given the second component of the vaccine to enhance the protective functions of the body and increase the duration of immunity.

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Russian leader Vladimir Putin that studies of the vaccine against COVID-19 would be completed in late July.

Virologist Pavel Volchkov, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, estimated the likelihood of a second wave of COVID-19 in Moscow.
