The number of cases of covid-19 found in Norrbotten has remained fairly constant up to and including week 23, but from 1 June there has been a sharp increase in the trend.
- This is mainly because of increased sampling, but also because of cluster dispersal and especially in Gällivare, says Anders Nystedt.
During the current period, the number of infected persons has increased from 51 to 103 persons.
In Gällivare, the number of people infected until June 21 is 17 people per 1,000 inhabitants.
