The man who was caught in the photo while urinating during a right-wing demonstration in London this weekend next to the memorial has been arrested. He reported himself to the police.

The stone plaque in memory of policeman Keith Palmer is located near Parliament in the British capital, where Palmer lost his life in a terrorist attack three years ago.

The arrested man is said to have participated in a demonstration train that marched into central London to "defend the statue of Winston Churchill" against the Black Lives Matter movement.

"Abominable"

Several British politicians have reacted strongly to the picture where the man is facing the corner of a pillar against which the memorial stands leaning.

- Keith Palmer was a hero when he ran against the danger that we would be safe on March 22, 2017. He paid the highest price for doing the job he loved and we owe him a deep debt of gratitude for his courage, says the former President in Parliament John Bercow.

Conservative politician Tobias Ellwood who tried to save the life of the dying Keith Palmer in 2017 called the act "disgusting" and asked for help to identify the man.
