“If you count to small retail, there will be about 4 million masks per day - what our citizens buy,” he confirmed.

The deputy head of the department said that there was no excessive demand for medical masks in the country. Yevtukhov also added that the cost of them in Russia will decrease as the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection stabilizes and the mask regimen is canceled.

The Moscow City Hall reported that more than 500 residents of Moscow donated blood plasma to treat patients with COVID-19. They recalled that such treatment is effective primarily for those in critical condition.

“More than 540 people have already become plasma donors for treating patients with COVID-19 in Moscow. At present, 340 patients have already undergone transfusion of immune plasma, ”the report said.

"On the fact of non-compliance with the requirements for medical clothing by an employee of the Tula Regional Clinical Hospital, the Ministry of Health reports that a disciplinary sanction was applied to the nurse of the infectious hospital who violated these requirements in the form of a remark," the department said.
