The Parliament announced a drop in the capacity of operating units of Ukrainian nuclear power plants

This was reported by TASS with reference to the post of Gerus on Facebook.

“The total capacity of operating nuclear units fell to 6,780 MW, which is less than 49% of the total installed capacity of nuclear power plants. This is a new historical minimum, this has never happened in the history of Ukraine, ”he wrote. 

According to him, the fall to this mark occurred after the third power unit of the South Ukrainian NPP was turned off.

Earlier, Gerus reported the shutdown of atomic unit No. 3 of the Rivne NPP. He was later reconnected to the power grid.
