As for the third reason, Elie adds that his wife is a medical worker, as she supported him morally, and he guaranteed her presence alongside him the psychological stability needed by those infected with the virus.
Eli, who has been in the country with him and his family since 2005, where a sales representative works for a detergent company, recounted the injury and recovery journey, saying that he felt his temperature increased at the end of last March, when it reached 39 degrees, so he went to a hospital, where he was conducted Tests necessary to detect the emerging corona virus, and the doctor prescribed him fever-reducing drugs, and asked him to isolate himself at home until the result of the examination appears.
The next day, his temperature returned to normal, and he felt no pain except that he lost his sense of smell and taste, and the matter remained for days until he received a call from the competent health authorities, in which he was told that the result of his examination was positive, that he was infected with the virus, and that he must be hospitalized.
He added that an ambulance transported him to Al Ain Hospital, affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company «SEHA», where he was surrounded with great care, and received great treatment from medical, nursing and administrative cadres, and received psychological and moral support from everyone.
He said that he stayed in the hospital for eight days, until his condition was stable. He was taken to a hotel, where he stayed for two weeks.
He said that the precautionary measures taken by the UAE had the greatest impact on his recovery, and the information he was getting from his wife about the virus contributed to his recovery from the disease.
