The beverage dispensers that the region has rented since 2015 prove to have been a bad deal. The payment service that the coffee-sucking staff were forced to use has often been straying, which created time losses in the business. The kroner per cup you paid has cost considerably more in lost working time.
The revenue for the coffee has been at SEK 600,000 per year - on the other hand, the expenditure is at SEK 7.4 million annually.
Now the region's investigation has found that there is money to save on free coffee. By purchasing the beverage dispensers that are currently rented and introducing free coffee, the region expects to save 2.4 million annually.
If you count working hours that are lost today, the savings will be even greater - SEK 4.5 million per year.
