Swedish AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to Italy on Monday after spending almost two months in his native country, Italian media reports.

The Sky Sport website published several photos of the masked and gloved attacker upon his arrival in Milan. The former Paris SG player was then taken to Milanello, the training center of the Rossonero club.

According to several Italian media, this is where he will observe a quarantine of 14 days. Its team members have been training on site individually for a week and will be able to resume group sessions from May 18.

Ibrahimovic had left Italy on March 12 to settle in Stockholm. He was able to train there with the players of the Hammarby club, of which he is a shareholder.

In Sweden, restrictions to contain the progression of the Covid-19 were more flexible than in most European countries, notably Italy, which was subjected to very strict containment.

With the return of "Ibra", Italian football has found all of its foreign stars, many of whom left the country at the start of the confinement. Cristiano Ronaldo returned last Monday to Turin and Franck Ribéry Friday to Florence.
