When the Corona crisis broke out, Lisa Lindeberg and Oskar Olausson were on a sailboat off the coast of Brazil. Now the pandemic has thrown around their earth-round trip in total.

The plan was to sail via the USA and Greenland towards the home port of Lysekil. But instead, they are stuck on American weather islands. No country wants to receive them.

- Of course we are released but nobody wants to accept us. But we have bunkered so we can get on the boat for six months, says Oskar Olausson.

Problems going ashore

And in May, the hurricane season begins in the area. Therefore, one must make a decision quickly where to sail. It may be that you are forced to sail all the way home without stopping.

- We try to live in isolation and hope that things go better before the hurricane season.
