The Emirates Fatwa Council, after holding its first meeting for the year 2020 AD on Sunday 25/08/1441 AH, corresponding to 04/19/2020 CE, and on the occasion of the coming of the holy month of Ramadan, and in light of the current circumstances, the following statement is issued: First: Bless The Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa for our blessed and blessed country, the United Arab Emirates leadership and people, and for Muslims everywhere, and for the whole world near the blessed month of Ramadan, asking God Almighty to make his coming a blessing and blessing for all, to lift his servants from the gloom, to break the crisis, and to have mercy The people of the earth, and to grant them success in patience and thanksgiving, and to have compassion among them and cooperation Li righteousness and piety.

On this occasion, we commend the initiatives undertaken by the United Arab Emirates to strengthen the human common through solidarity with various countries of the world to address this crisis and mitigate its effects, which embodied a realistic and practical example of what noble religions and ethics advocate.
Fourth: The Council stresses that the decision issued by the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management, in coordination with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and federal and local religious and health authorities should extend the decision to close mosques until further notice, based on Fatwa No. 11 of 2020 that Issued by the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa, we also call upon all to strictly abide by all health and regulatory instructions issued by the competent authorities in the state, and take all necessary measures to prevent the transmission and spread of the disease and eliminate it.
Fifth: The Council calls on all members of society to positively deal with the negative effects of the crisis.
