"It is urgent to wait," said 45 groups of French football supporters in a joint statement on Monday where they are positioning themselves against a resumption of the championships without spectators and castigate "the quarrels" of the leaders in the crisis due to the coronavirus.

"It is not conceivable that football will resume prematurely. It is not conceivable that it will resume in camera. It will resume in due time, when the sanitary and social conditions are met", launched these associations of fans of Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and National clubs.

Co-signed by 45 groups, including the Collectif ultras Paris (CUP), main PSG ultras group, the Ultramarines (Bordeaux) as well as the Loire Brigade (Nantes), this press release calls to French football bodies to stall at cause of the coronavirus, to "think about the future" and to "take advantage of this time of pause and confinement to rethink".

"Football + at all costs + is a football of shame, which will have no future", repeat these groups, critical of this football "which has become a television program which believed it could do without full stadiums, but which above all cannot do without broadcasters' money. "

Since the suspension of the championship on March 13, several leaders have indeed gone there for their proposal for the end of the season, not excluding for the most part a resumption of the championship behind closed doors. The broadcasters Canal + and beIN Sports, for their part, have suspended the payment of TV rights for the championship.
