It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to research data.

As Laura Nakoryakova, the head of the Center for Social and Economic Research at the Center for Social Development, noted, this happened contrary to the call of the country's authorities to save wages and leave employees with paid leave.

“According to our data, 29% of companies declare that they had to transfer employees specifically to unpaid leave,” she said.

She also added that in the next month the situation may worsen and this trend will be followed by almost every second company.

According to her, at the same time, some companies went to cut salaries and transfer their employees to contractual relationship systems.

Earlier, Izvestia, referring to the specialists of the recruitment service Rabota.ru, wrote that the growth of requests for remote work among Russians in early April 2020 increased by 246% compared to the same period last year.
