“At present, there are no cases of new coronavirus infection in the Russian National Guard troops,” the Rosgvard press service reports.

Nevertheless, the infectious wards of hospitals are prepared to receive patients, reserves of medicines and disinfectants have been created, anti-epidemic teams have been formed and work has been carried out to inform the staff.

“A set of barrier measures is being carried out in the Russian Guard, which provides for thermometry and polling of complaints upon arrival at the service, immediate isolation of people with signs of illnesses with acute respiratory diseases, followed by determination of the circle of contacts and establishment of medical supervision for them,” the department emphasized.

At the same time, the Rosguard maintains a round-the-clock exchange of operational information on the coronovirus with the coordinating council of the government and operational headquarters for Russia.

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Russian Armed Forces have not registered a single case of a new coronavirus.

At the same time, all conscripts will have to go through two-week quarantine after arriving at military units during the spring draft campaign.
