The former Lebanese Minister, May Chidiac, announced on Monday that she had "Covid-19" disease caused by the emerging coronavirus, stressing that she will recover soon.
Chidiac said that she felt some symptoms similar to the symptoms of infection with the virus after her return from the French capital last week, "which necessitated my immediate obligatory quarantine," according to a statement published on Monday evening.
She added that she had undergone medical examinations in the hospital to show the cause of the symptoms she felt, "and after the results of the tests appeared a short time ago, I was asked to go to the hospital for treatment after confirming that I had the virus."
Chidiac indicated that she was told that her condition is not critical, adding, "I will join soon, God willing, with the list of those recovering from the Corona virus."
