In several groups on social media, residents are encouraged to go out on their balconies, or other places, at 8pm each evening and applaud, as a tribute to health care staff.
There are several different groups, and one of them has over 196,000 members.
Several of those who participate in the groups live in Halland and in the clip above you can see what it looked like when the hall crews paid tribute to the nursing staff on Thursday evening.
