Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday evening participated in the applause campaign from the balcony of the houses, to express thanks and support to the medical sector cadres who are making great efforts to stop the spread of the Coruna virus.

Erdoانan posted a video on his Twitter account, showing him clapping with his wife from their balcony to express their support for the medical staff.

He said in the tweet that he sends his peace, love and applause in his name and on behalf of his family and the Turkish people to all health workers who bear all the difficulties, considering that they are "the loyal heroes in the fight against the Corona virus."

Through the video, Erdogan said, "The struggle of health workers is above all applause, and I salute them with respect, my love and my greetings to them, and in my name and on behalf of my family and the Turkish people, I send my peace and love to the health workers who bear all the hardships and hardships."

Erdogan addressed the Turkish people in his audio message by saying, "Do not get out of your homes except for the most urgent necessity."

This gesture comes at the invitation of Minister of Health Fakhruddin Kuja - in a speech to him on Thursday - after a campaign launched by the population via social networking sites to applaud the health cadres, in exchange for their efforts to combat the spread of the Corona epidemic.

At 9:00 p.m. Friday, road drivers released their horns in conjunction with citizens applauding from the balcony, to support health workers.

This came while the Turkish Health Minister announced - in a tweet - 311 new cases of corona virus recorded during the past 24 hours, in addition to five deaths, raising the total number of deaths in Turkey to nine and 670 cases.
