In detail, the director of the Family Forum Center, Fayza Hassan Khabab, told «Emirates Today» that «the department is constantly seeking to implement projects or initiatives in various electronic, technical and smart services, that would contribute to the advancement of society and achieve happiness for its members», noting That the department began about two years ago to implement the electronic "vision" project, which allows children to see parents through an electronic platform from homes, in order to delight inmates and their families, as 30 monthly visions are organized, and children are collected by inmates through electronically equipped rooms.

She added that the project developed after the vision took place through a family meeting in the family forum building and in the presence of police and specialists from the Social Services Department, as these efforts were curtailed through the electronic meeting that is carried out via an internal network developed with modern techniques to safely information between the Social Services Department The Penal and Correctional Institution.

She pointed out that the meeting takes place through rooms equipped with the finest devices in each of the two parties, noting that the matter did not depend on a fixed geographical area, as it developed until a specialized team from the Social Services Department went to the families of the inmates in their homes carrying a smart device attached to an existing vision room Inside the penal and correctional institution (in the department's Dar Al-Aman) to bring them together.

She explained that the project extends to many geographical regions, by employing modern technologies that will connect the devices to any place the department wants to reunite the family through this smart platform.

She showed that the electronic "vision" contributed to shortening the steps of the tiring procedures in the vision that were taking a lot of time, pointing out that due to the simplicity of the process currently, the meetings between the inmate and his relatives increased, which greatly affected the cohesion of the family and their communication permanently and continuously.

She stated that the mechanism for organizing interviews between prisoners and families through the "vision" is through communication and coordination between the administration of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Sharjah and the Family Forum Center by revealing the names of accredited inmates according to specific requirements, after which times are coordinated to suit the families of inmates.
