Faced with the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, Haiti has not yet recorded any case on its national territory. On Sunday, March 15, the government announced the closure of the border with the Dominican Republic and the elimination of almost all flights except those with the United States.

From Tuesday March 17, only the transport of goods will be authorized between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. In addition to this border closure, decided for an initial period of two weeks, Haitian Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe announced a drastic suspension of air traffic: " Currently, we have taken steps to suspend all flights from Europe and America Latin. We maintain flights to the United States at this time, but we assess this on a case-by-case basis. "

All flights to and from Europe, Canada, Dominican Republic and Latin America are prohibited, for the next 2 weeks, from midnight on 3/16/2020. Only the flights of @USA are still authorized, after an agreement with the American authorities.
