The United Arab Emirates has lifted its preventive and preventive measures to confront the new Corona virus (Covid 19), in response to raising the level of the virus by the World Health Organization, and considered it a "pandemic", as the state announced yesterday a temporary halt to the issuance of all visas, and the suspension of all incoming flights Leaving to Lebanon, Turkey, Syria and Iraq, closing a number of cultural centers, and postponing all the activities scheduled for this month in March in Dubai, until the end of this month.

In detail, the UAE has decided to "suspend" the issuance of all visas, starting from March 17th, with the exception of diplomatic passport holders.

In a statement yesterday, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship clarified that this comes within the framework of the preventive and precautionary measures taken by the state in response to raising the level of the new Corona virus (Covid 19) by the World Health Organization and considering it a "pandemic", which makes travel at this stage on Highly dangerous.

This does not apply to persons who have been issued visas before the effective date of this decision.

She pointed out that the decision to temporarily suspend visas comes until a mechanism for medical examination is activated in the countries of departure as an additional measure, given what the world is witnessing in terms of confronting the new Corona virus, as a precaution and preventive measure targeting the public interest of all countries alike, and what travel between countries represents in This stage is dangerous for her.

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, at the end of its statement, stressed that this decision stems from the spirit of responsibility that the UAE has, and within its efforts to combat this virus around the world, and in solidarity with the countries of the world to cross this crisis safely.

In the context of raising the level of precautionary measures taken by the state, the General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the suspension of all incoming and outgoing flights to Lebanon, Turkey, Syria and Iraq, from March 17, 2020 until further notice.

The authority said in a statement issued yesterday, that the decision to suspend flights came after studying and evaluating the global situation and its spread to most countries of the world, including Italy, as there is continuous coordination and cooperation with all concerned authorities inside and outside the country, to monitor the developments of conditions to preserve the security and safety of civil aviation ».

Under the umbrella of the National Emergency and Crisis Authority, the concerned authorities are following up the global conditions to take the best appropriate decisions that ensure the continuity of the work system within the country, and reduce the risk ratio in the spread of the disease.

The Civil Aviation Authority called on all travelers affected by the decision to follow-up and communicate with the airlines associated with them to amend and schedule their flights, and to ensure their safe return to their final destinations, without any delay or other obligations.

In addition, the Department of Tourism and Commercial Promotion in Dubai directed to postpone all activities scheduled for this month of March, until the end of the month, including all activities of leisure destinations.

The department also directed hotel establishments and wedding halls in the emirate to prevent the holding of wedding parties, from Sunday, March 15 until the end of the month, and all facilities will be inspected to verify full compliance.

In the same context, the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi decided to temporarily close a number of cultural centers in the emirate, until March 31, 2020, including: The Louvre Abu Dhabi, Manarat Al Saadiyat, Qasr Al Hosn, The Cultural Complex, Al Ain Palace Museum, Al Ain Oasis, Al Jahili Fort, And Al Muwaiji Palace. Other cultural centers continue to operate, including: The House of Oud, Berkeley Abu Dhabi, and the Al Qattara Center for the Arts, which offer varied lessons in art, following strict health and safety instructions. She indicated that the public will be informed as soon as the cultural sites return to their normal functioning.

The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi directed all cinema owners in the emirate to suspend their activities temporarily until the end of this month.

She explained in a circular issued by, "Emirates Today" obtained a copy of it, that the circular comes within the framework of preventive measures to prevent the emerging corona virus as a benefit 19.

She pointed out that this circular is valid immediately and promptly, noting that cinemas and their facilities will be inspected by the department's inspectors to verify compliance with the circular.

And the department demanded that all cinema owners commit to the decision, in order to avoid the legal measures that will be taken regarding violators.

The decisions respond to the lifting of the "global health" Corona virus to a "pandemic" level.

The concerned authorities follow the global conditions to take the best decisions to reduce the risk of disease spread.
