“A decision has been made to temporarily suspend the passage through the Russian state border of foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving through the Russian-Polish and Russian-Norwegian land sections of the state border,” the statement said on the website of the cabinet.

It is clarified that the ban applies to citizens arriving in Russia for training and work, as well as for private and tourist purposes.

Earlier, the Russian headquarters for the fight against coronavirus said that Russia since March 16 has been restricting air traffic with EU countries, with the exception of regular flights to the capitals of the European Union countries and charters.
