“A joint coordination center has begun to work with the Turkish side to ensure a ceasefire and conduct joint patrols,” TASS quoted Rear Admiral Oleg Zhuravlev, head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria.
According to him, the Russian side conducted an engineering reconnaissance of the patrol route in the Sarakib area.
Earlier, Turkish Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar said that the Russian and Turkish military will conduct joint patrols in Syrian Idlib on March 15.
