The official of the Abu Dhabi News Service, Khalifa Al-Musafri, told Emirates Today that the idea was started by citizens based on the Abu Dhabi News Network, where they consulted in some of the WhatsApp groups and with some citizens about the idea of ​​the initiative, and it got a great response from the citizens through The groups were named "Committed, Homeland" to support the country’s precautionary measures against Corona virus.

He pointed out that coordination has been made with some officials in the state to launch the initiative, pointing out that the aim of the initiative is to encourage citizens and residents to adhere to the state’s procedures and that it is incumbent upon everyone in the country to adhere to preventive measures, including relying on official sources of news and investigating information from the Ministry of Health and the concerned authorities and not stirring Panic and fear among people due to the "Corona" virus.

He explained that the "Committed to Homeland" campaign spread during the first three hours of its launch in the "Social Media", and that the initiative is expected to generate a great response and response from citizens and residents in the country to the efforts of government agencies to limit the spread of the Corona virus.
