Cafes, movie theaters and nightclubs close in France due to COVID-19

According to AFP, the ban will affect institutions that "do not represent a vital need." These include cafes, restaurants, nightclubs and movie theaters.

Restaurants, bars, discothèques, cinémas sont appelés à fermer leurs portes. Les commerces sont aussi touchés, à l'exception des magasins alimentaires, pharmacies, banques, bureau de tabac ou encore stations-essence, a précisé le Premier ministre #AFP

According to the French Prime Minister, pharmacies, gas stations, banks and grocery stores will continue to operate.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron called the situation with coronavirus infection COVID-19 the most serious health crisis in the country for a century.
