The Egyptian Ministry of Health said in a statement today, Friday, that it had registered 13 new cases of Corona virus, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 93.
The ministry said Egypt had previously recorded two deaths from the Corona virus, a German tourist and a 60-year-old Egyptian woman.
The ministry added that the new cases include five Egyptians and eight foreigners.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Health announced the exit of one of the newly infected persons from the Corona virus from the isolation hospital, after receiving medical care and recovering according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 21 cases to date.
The advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the ministry's official spokesman, Khaled Mujahid, explained that the case that left the isolation hospital today, for a foreign person.
Mujahid pointed out that the results of analyzes of 5 cases turned from positive to negative for Coronavirus (Covid-19), so that the number of cases whose laboratory results turned out to be negative increased from 27 to 32 cases.
Mujahid revealed that the total number of people who have been registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Friday is 93 cases, including 21 cases that have been cured and discharged from the isolation hospital.
