On Sunday, Janet Raymond celebrated her 90th birthday, on an occasion that brought together her three children, her seven grandchildren, and 12 third-generation individuals. Janet Raymond and her husband came to Montchanin, in eastern France, in the 1950s.

And at the age of 53 she learned to swim, when she was taking her children and grandchildren to the pool, and since then she decided to join the water games club, and teach children to swim, after that, she has been a volunteer for more than a quarter of a century. Meanwhile, Janet has many other hobbies, she has learned to play the accordion, and has stood on stage in several roles. She devoted her free time to sewing bras and jackets for her grandchildren, and she continues to do so today.

"It conveys a very positive picture of aging," says Guillaume, one of her grandchildren. "I will continue to throw arrows as long as I still have a good vision and do not tremble," said Grandma, who is still very active.

Today, in order to keep in shape, the grandmother added more activities to her daily life, she loves hitting the drum, she walks with the Association of Retired Sportsmen, and reads aloud in a family council in the village of "Torcy".

One of her sons, Michelle, says that his mother gives the family warmth and energy at the same time, “Few are women of her age who enjoy all this activity,” adding, “Her enduring activity has kept her away from boredom, boredom and many diseases of aging.” Michel wishes to follow his mother's example and remain active to an advanced age, and seeks to enjoy family times as much as possible.
