The Fujairah Criminal Court sentenced Khaleeji to seven years in prison for drug and psychotropic drug use and possession of a large number of them, and assaulting the safety of the body of a public official.
The Public Prosecution in Fujairah referred the accused to the court on charges of using psychotropic substances and legally prohibited substances, and finding tools to facilitate the abuse process, in addition to violating the safety of the body of a public official.
By asking the court’s body about the accused about the charges against him, he admitted to using crystal material, indicating that “the injections that the security authorities found and were convicted of were empty and did not use or contain any material.” He continued, “What is the physical evidence that confirms that I would have used it in abuse?” ? ».
The accused asked the court to subject him to treatment, noting that "his presence in the prison and a sentence against him will not help, as he can serve the community and become effective if he has the opportunity to recover from addiction."
