The move comes within the framework of the strategic partnership between the institution and the ministry, with the aim of enriching and strengthening the system of "distance learning" for students inside the country through the smart learning portal, which was approved by the ministry at the beginning of this March, so that the platform "School" with what it provides of distinguished electronic educational content is a main and enhanced part In this system, in a way that allows all students in public and private schools, teachers and parents to benefit from them, as they are compatible with and complementary to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education.
The Minister of State for General Education Affairs, Jamila Al-Muhairi, said that the implementation of the distance learning system by the Ministry of Education is a step aimed at achieving complementarity with the advanced digital architecture available in the country at the level of comprehensive connectivity to the Internet and means of communication, and strengthens the state’s leadership in using advanced technology and its applications In all aspects of daily life, it supports online and open learning pathways that allow the student to achieve educational achievement in various circumstances.

She pointed out that, since the beginning of the current school year, cooperation has taken place between the Ministry of Education and the "School" platform, by linking with the "School" platform system to facilitate access to electronic content, and continuous training workshops have been organized to inform teachers of the best ways to benefit from what the platform offers , And enrich and enrich the educational process.
