The war in Yemen, nearly five years ago, has not prevented dozens of children and youth from exercising their hobbies. Many of them have succeeded in overcoming the painful reality they live by joining the Yemeni House of Music in Sanaa and some other institutes in Aden, in the south of the country as well.

Some of these young men and children say in direct encounters with Al Jazeera Net that they are merging with music, flying in another world, and often fleeing the sounds of air strikes and war bullets to the music house to practice their hobbies of playing various musical instruments.

According to the administration of the Yemeni House of Music, the students' demand to study music during the war years has doubled greatly, and there are many parents who are excited about escaping their children from the reality of war and fighting, to learn new and entertaining things at the same time, and it may also help them to overcome troubles the war.
