One month after returning from an international tour during which he again received the support of his international allies, Juan Guaido is now appealing to the Venezuelan people. It's a bit of a last-ditch strategy for Juan Guaido. He presented this Saturday the "National specifications of conflicts". It is a document prepared with unions from all sectors and which gathers their demands. A document he wants to vote in the National Assembly after a first major demonstration on March 10.
" The objective of Tuesday is to reactivate the fight, go out into the street, unify all sectors and approve the national and social specifications of claims and conflicts. My hope is that together we will put pressure on the dictatorship. "
The problem is that since the beginning of January, Juan Guaido has no longer had access to the National Assembly , surrounded by soldiers and sometimes even "colectivos", groups of armed citizens close to the government. But the opponent claims to have planned everything.
“ On the front line, there will be MPs and union leaders from each sector to protect our citizens in an organized manner. To face the probable resistance which will impose the dictatorship. "
A very meager insurance for the Venezuelans who are each time less numerous in the demonstrations of the opposition. In reality, Juan Guaido counts above all on the success of his international tour to relaunch the mobilization, and on the unions whose unanimous support is not guaranteed.
