The man is charged with attempted murder and a case of gross misdemeanor, according to the lawsuit filed at Attunda District Court at the end of February. He is also charged with attempted aggravated assault, attempted robbery and preparation for aggravated assault.

The man was moving in the open-air area on Lake Norrviken in Sollentuna for several months in search of people to attack, according to the prosecutor. The attacks took place from the end of February 2019 to the end of September of the same year, Expressen writes.

During the attempted murder, he attacked an elderly woman with a hammer. The woman suffered multiple fractures of the skull during the abuse.

"The injuries to the head have been life-threatening," Chamber Prosecutor Ewa Tvengström wrote in the lawsuit.

The man has described the attack on the elderly woman in a chat found when his computer was being investigated. He must also have expressed that he wanted to murder someone, writes Expressen.

In the severe assault he attacked a man with a hammer in the back of his head. The 20-year-old interrupted the attack when the man was hit back with his walking sticks, according to the prosecutor.
