The Paris Stock Exchange closed sharply higher (+ 1.12%) Tuesday, after a chaotic session, due to the surprise announcement by the Fed which decided to lower its key rates by 50 basis points in order to mitigate the economic impact of the coronavirus.
The CAC 40 index rose 59.65 points to 5,393.17 points, in a trade volume still very strong 7.5 billion euros. The day before, he had already finished in the green (+ 0.44%).
