The deputy head of the Egyptian Freedom Party, former director of the Qalioubia Investigation Department, Major General Hassan Nagy, died on Tuesday evening, after the elevator (elevators) fell while he was inside the opening of a headquarters for the Egyptian Freedom Party in Suez Governorate.
The head of the Egyptian Freedom Party and Speaker of the House of Representatives Salah Hassaballah revealed that he was not in the elevator that fell, and led to the death of the party's deputy head, Major General Hassan Nagy, and the injury of Secretary-General Ahmed Mehanna during their visit to Suez to open the party’s headquarters, according to the newspaper «Al-Masry Al-Youm».
According to God, during a telephone intervention on the program "On My Responsibility" on "Echo Al-Balad" channel, on Tuesday evening, he indicated that he had gone up to the party’s headquarters before the elevation of the elevator, noting that he had fallen immediately after his ascent, and that the party’s deputy leader, Major General Hassan Naji, was in it The one who died, the Secretary General Ahmed Mehanna, and Dr. Magdy Allam, who were discharged without major injuries, were discharged from the hospital after the accident.
He stated that the elevator fell from the sixth floor, despite the fact that the property is modern, and a technical team is searching for the reasons for the fall of the elevator, excluding the existence of a criminal suspicion, pointing to the presence of the Governor of Suez and the Director of the Governorate Security and security leaders in the governorate.
