The Global Forum of the Alliance of Non-Communicable Diseases concluded its work yesterday, calling for the preparation of appropriate strategies for the current decade, to meet the challenges of non-communicable diseases.

The Forum of Friends of Cancer Patients organized the forum, under the slogan "Accelerating progress in implementing international commitments to prevent and reduce non-communicable diseases", in cooperation with the Alliance of Non-Communicable Diseases.

The session, which was titled "Demanding the implementation of a collective action plan to address non-communicable diseases through social movements capable of effecting change, and through those calling for change," stressed the importance of raising awareness of non-communicable diseases, and encouraging policymakers, civil society and the private sector to take action Occasion.
