Abu Dhabi Appeals Court, the case of an Arab youth accused of stealing a jacket, pants and shoes from a clothing store in a mall, was booked for judgment in the February 18 session.

In detail, the incident started with a communication from commercial centers to the security authorities stating that a person was trying to steal a famous clothing store, explaining that the accused tried to steal and smuggle a jacket and underwear, three socks, three shoes and a shirt, after removing the chips for the alarm devices, and put them inside (bags) Purchases he had previously brought with him.

The Public Prosecution referred the accused to the judiciary, and in front of the court, the defendant denied all the charges against him, indicating that he was planning to purchase the clothes that were found in his possession, and that he accidentally crossed the exit door while he was going to pay the purchases at the payment fund.

The defendant requested the court to acquit the acquittal of the accusation attributed to him, and, as a precaution, to reduce the conviction sentence issued against him from the first instance court, which punished him with six months imprisonment and deportation from the state.
