The number of robberies where the victims are under 18 has more than doubled between 2016 and 2019, according to a report from the police. Last year 2,484 such robberies were reported and often the perpetrators are also minors or not even criminal, ie under 15 years.
A pattern among the perpetrators is that they come from so-called vulnerable areas.

To get things done, Carin Götblad wants to see stronger efforts from the social services, especially at a much earlier stage compared to today.

SVT has earlier today told of an astonishing case, in which 18-year-old "Liam" was on his way home from work and was assaulted by two 16-year-old guys who mistreated him and humiliated him.
