French international winger Damian Penaud, who felt muscle discomfort in Saturday's training at Stade de France, forfeits the shock against England Sunday in the Six Nations Tournament, we learned on Saturday with the French Rugby Federation (FFR).

The Clermont player (23, 16 caps) left training for a few minutes before coming back with a thick bandage at the left calf. He will be replaced on the wing by Rochelais Vincent Rattez (27 years old, 3 caps).

"He experienced muscle discomfort at the very start of the warm-up. He is currently undergoing control exams. We will see the outcome of these exams", explained the general manager of the French team Raphaël Ibanez, a few minutes before the package of Clermontois, who suffers from an injury, according to radio RMC.

It is a new blow for the Blues: after the packages of the hooker Camille Chat (Racing 92), the third line Dylan Cretin (Lyon), the rear Kylan Hamdaoui (Stade français) or the pillar Wilfrid Hounkpatin (Castres) .

Rattez will experience his first tenure after having started his three selections, facing South Africa twice in 2017 and facing Wales in 2019, on the bench.
