It is noted that all permits issued for flights between the two countries were temporarily canceled from 9:00 Moscow time on February 1.
Earlier, the Vietnamese province of Quang Nin closed the land border with China to protect against the entry of a new type of coronavirus 2019-nCoV into the country.
In late December, it became known that in the Chinese city of Wuhan, dozens of people fell ill with an unknown form of pneumonia. It was later reported that a new type of coronavirus was the cause of the outbreak of viral pneumonia.
Various states have taken measures in connection with the appearance of the virus. For example, airports in the USA, Great Britain, Russia, and a number of other countries began to check arriving passengers for a new type of coronavirus, some countries closed the border, etc., however, 2019-nCoV continues to spread throughout the world. Patients have already been recorded in Russia, the USA, Singapore, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, France and other states.
According to the latest data, the number of people infected only in China has almost reached 12 thousand, and 259 people have already died from it.
Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, editor-in-chief of the journal “Issues of Virology” and director of the Research Institute of Virology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Dmitry Lvov in an interview with the FBA “Economics Today” noted that coronavirus is not spreading as fast as the flu virus.
