"We lived very difficult days in the Chinese city of Wuhan after the spread of the Coruna virus ... We came out of the mouth of death and returned to us after we reached Jordan." With these words, the Arab and Jordanian students returning from China summarized the scene there.

Ghost town
Jordanian students, who preferred to hide their names at the request of the Jordanian ministries of health and foreign affairs and the Jordanian embassy in Beijing, say that Wuhan has become a ghost town after the spread of the disease, as it carried out masks and medical gloves from pharmacies.

The student “HMA” states that he and his colleagues were living in a state of panic and fear, adding that the situation in Wuhan was getting worse every day, as the number of injured people is on the rise, and transportation is idle, and entry to or exit from the city is prohibited without permission from the authorities, Whoever violates arrest and imprisonment. The student hoped that the Chinese authorities would be able to eradicate the virus and return to complete his studies.

In turn, the student "MS" says to Al Jazeera Net, "Without God, then Jordan's efforts to return us, but we are among the injured or dead ... Unfortunately, the disease is spreading, and hospitals no longer accommodate the injured ... prevented us from leaving the housing (student housing), The study was suspended until the end of this month. "

The student explains how life in Wuhan has become disrupted, the streets are empty, shops and restaurants in the markets are closed, and people are hiding in their homes, adding that they sometimes look from the windows of the houses to the empty roads, and sometimes they watch TV screens and phones waiting for news that gets them out of the fear they were in.

Medical isolation
A medical source supervising the returning students explains in a statement to Al-Jazeera Net that the Ministry of Health has prepared since last week to receive the returning students from China, as the epidemiological department in the government hospital "Al-Bashir" for medical isolation has been equipped with 125 beds to examine the returning students.

The source added that the medical staff received the students at dawn today at Queen Alia International Airport square, and they were transferred to Al-Bashir Hospital, and the necessary medical measures were taken for them, waiting for special medical slides to quickly detect the Corona virus, which will reach the Kingdom from China tomorrow, Sunday.
